I wanted to make a card inspired by the sketch on the right for the Mojo 234 challenge. I am out of quality card stock with the exception of several blank A2 plain white card bases I had ready to go. I did not want to trim them down to the square size that was needed for the challenge so I used my artistic interpretation to adapt the sketch to an A2 card.
Unfortunately, the first card I made ("My goal in life") didn't work when I tried to adapt it so I ended up turning it 90 degrees, and not using the small square that is inset at the bottom right of the big square in the sketch. Instead, I decided NOT to use it for the challenge and do the best I could to turn it into a nice card. I do like the results.
For my second card, I made the same base only moved the papers to different positions. Then I looked through some sentiments I had printed out. I never intended on making a cutesy card, but the color of the iguana blended perfectly with the decorator papers. The stitching and nice papers brought it out of the realm of cutesy kids cards to cute adult or teen card I think.
Again, I got to play with a sentiment that was a pun but this time it was from the Create with TLC blog, and I got to use my cute dollar store stickers. FUN!
Your Iguana card turned out wonderfully~! Love the paper combinations.
