| My Favorite Shading Blend |
I have been experimenting and experimenting and experimenting with shading blends and have found my favorites. This yellow one is slightly different than those mentioned in class, but Sandy said to experiment on our own to find what we prefer. This one uses a lighter violet as the deepest shade, yet I still can see the deeper color and it avoids having the shaded parts look orange.
You discovered a beautiful blend! I am enjoying Sandy's class and learning so much!

Thanks to Sandy explaining so much about color theory, I was able to take one of the starting points of one color combination then discover what I didn't like about it and change one thing to make it more to my liking. I need to continue to play with color combos though. That is the one thing I am getting most out of this class. Have fun playing!

DeleteNever would have thought to add violet to the yellow, looks like a perfect blend. Been checking out all your steps and its looking great. Hope you have enjoyed the workshops.
